Prices and Fees
Makeup pricing starts at $75 per face. For hair inquiries, please contact us. We travel to your site, anywhere on Kauai, with no travel fees to most parts of the island. A nominal fee may be included for appointments on Kauai’s North Shore. To book a session date, we require a $25 deposit to hold your appointment time, with the remaining balance due on the day of the appointment.
How to Prepare for a Makeup Session
• Share some looks! We love getting an idea of the look you’re going for, or seeing any inspiration pics that you like. Send any reference pictures by email or text. If you like to use Pinterest, share a pinboard with some of the looks you love.
• Introduce yourself! Your MUA can be most prepared if she knows a little about you. Do you wear makeup regularly? How would you describe your personal style? What’s your skin type? Your favorite makeup look? This type of info can be shared through a phone consultation, or simply by sharing your Instagram profile!
• Prep your face! Upon your MUA’s arrival your face should be cleansed and fresh, but free of any makeup or creams; moisturizer is fine.
• Prep your hair! If you are receiving basic hair services, please be sure that your hair is dry. Please refrain from using any hair products prior to the session, including leave-in conditioners.
• Prep your space! For best results with your makeup application, it is best to setup in natural light, facing a door or window. Be sure that you are cool, hydrated, and comfortable, and that your MUA has access to a power outlet and a table where she can setup.
• Have your balance ready! We like to collect any remaining balance prior to the start of your makeup session, so please have it ready. We accept cash or check payments payable to our makeup artist: Mary Yadao.
